Influencing internally to ensure your comms team is successful

Do you find yourself or your communication team brought into projects too late to make a difference? Are you in an organisation where everyone thinks they can do your job? Tired of being viewed as the odd-jobs team that orders promotional giveaways or prints posters? Then this session is for you!

Speaker: Sue Milne, Partner, Senate Communications.
Having worked both in-house as a communication manager and as an external communication advisor in consultancies, Sue understands how frustrating it can be when the communication function is overlooked or undervalued. This session was developed by her colleague, Senate partner Tracey Bridges, for Senate’s government sector clients. However the insights and suggestions are easily transferable to anyone working in communications.
